I am a seasoned business leader who have lead companies through different stages of formation, from establishment to launch of operations, designing business models, strategic planning, geographic and business expansion, to achieving sustainable year-on-year growth. Through it all, I always believed that human capital is the most valuable asset to achieve meaningful results and I always acknowledged that my role as a leader is to inspire and not to manage, to empower and not to instruct, to positively impact lives and not to drain people.Ethics for me come first. I cannot, and I did not, make any compromises on this. In today’s world, business opportunities are limitless if one is profit driven, but it isn’t all about money. It is first and foremost about creating sustainable value for employees, customers, suppliers, and shareholders and not ephemeral short-term gains.As figures speak for themselves, I feel proud to have led the overall growth of Concordia Group that recorded CAGR 12% from 2009 to 2020; a growth driven mainly by the diversification and improvement of the equities and real estate portfolios. While in Dhofar Global, I achieved with the team a CAGR that stands at 9% from 2016 to 2020, thanks to ambitious expansion plans into new untapped markets, diversification of product range, and upselling and cross selling approach. My participation in the National CEO Program, an executive leadership program designed, managed, and delivered by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Switzerland, to develop global CEOs and leaders, was key in developing and maintaining solid relations with some of Oman’s top leaders and being an active agent in the development of our business environment.Inspired by my father’s wisdom and leadership that helped him guide our family through thick and thin while pushing me for further growth, I seek to provide my wife, son, and daughter with anchoring experiences that will shape up their future.
