Experience:Development Geologist and Petrel Geomodeler with experience in upstream O&G industry with experience in both offshore conventional and onshore unconventional plays in foreign and domestic basins. Uniquely positioned with Petrel geomodelling skills that have optimized development of offshore International and onshore US fields. In addition to geomodelling skills I have strong inter-discipline integration and communication skills, internal and external relationship management, operational support while drilling vertical and horizontal wells, and a deep understanding of geologic concepts, as well as a strong working knowledge of basin structure and stratigraphy. Experience includes building the Petrel model for late-life development of Marathon’s legacy Brae field, working with JV partners to identify 13 viable infill projects (after 30 years of development; three have been executed doubling the field production), and building a regional Petrel geomodel for the US Eagle Ford Asset that was used to guide Marathon’s development strategy through testing of spacing models, completion trials, and enhanced oil recovery scenarios for the Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk reservoirs. My most recent experience was providing geosteering support for up to seven rig lines across Marathon’s unconventional portfolio (Eagle Ford, Oklahoma Scoop and Stack, Bakken and Permian), building local Petrel models for planning well placement and executing steering operations. In conjunction to geosteering I built Petrel geomodels to provide complex structural models for the Oklahoma SCOOP completion design. As a senior geoscientist I have strong leadership skills from experience as the Geo Team Lead for the Eagle Ford Asset, overseeing 15 development geologists as well as being responsible for mentoring and training less experienced operations and subsurface development geologists while providing technical support across multidiscipline and assets.Core Competencies:-Geomodelling: (Petrel) from concept to full dynamic simulation and volumetric analyses -Multiple basins: W Africa (Angola) exploration & appraisal, International NV, UK Offshore (Brae Fields), and US Onshore Development (Oklahoma and Eagle Ford) -Field Development experience from model development to planning and execution -Geological mapping (Petrel, GeoGraphix, ArcMap) -Facies modeling: Core, log, & seismic integration -Turbidite reservoir experience (over seven years)-Partner relationship management -Geosteering horizontal wells (StarSteer, Petrel, DSG, GeoGraphix, ArcMap) Updated 5/4/21
Listed skills include Geology, Petrel, Petroleum Geology, Geological Mapping, and 15 others.

Over 35 years of data including well logs, seismic surveys, 32,000+ feet of core, and biostratigraphy were utilized to aid in building a complex deep marine turbidity field model. -This effort resulted in 13 targets with 3 new wells drilled that had initial oil production of 500-3000 barrels of oil a day with little to no watercut. Evaluation work prolonged the cessation of production date of the South Brae field by minimum of 10 years.-Provided operational and development support for drilling horizontal wells in West Brae field.-Worked extensively with UK Offshore Lease Partners to facilitate field development.
