Advanced Geologist Integrated Performance Well Planning and Geologic Operations -Advanced operations geologist on the well planning and execution team for Eagle Ford, Oklahoma Scoop and Stack, Bakken and Permian assets, with over half a million feet of lateral length drilled with an in- zone percentage over 97%. -Responsibilities include pre-planning wells with asset team development geologists, determining optimal drilling strategy (supported by Petrel models), geosteering, and support for coring and logging operations (remote and on-site). -Other responsibilities include mentoring and training less experienced geologists, continuing to refine asset team geocellular models with the geosteering data, and incorporating drilling data into the geomodel to provide completion recommendations. -Liaise with the Integrations Performance Solutions team to provide Petrel geomodels for Marathon’s Oklahoma SCOOP asset field development and completion trials.

Eagle Ford Asset, South Texas – North American Production and Operations-Geologist within the asset team worked in tandem with reservoir engineer and land to develop the Eagle Ford Kenedy acreage. -Responsibilities included building multi-unit Petrel geomodels, plans of development for 500+ wells, staking requests, providing geological support for well pad sanctions and AFE presentations, geological prognosis for operations geologists and supporting reserves bookings.

UK Subsurface Team (Aberdeen), Brae Fields – International Production and Operations -As the sole team geologist, built the Petrel geomodel for the South Brae field to evaluate late stage infill drilling to enhance oil recovery in a 30+ year old field. Over 35 years of data including well logs, seismic surveys, 32,000+ feet of core, and biostratigraphy were utilized to aid in building a complex deep marine turbidity field model. -This effort resulted in 13 targets with 3 new wells drilled that had initial oil production of 500-3000 barrels of oil a day with little to no watercut. Evaluation work prolonged the cessation of production date of the South Brae field by minimum of 10 years.-Provided operational and development support for drilling horizontal wells in West Brae field.-Worked extensively with UK Offshore Lease Partners to facilitate field development.
