Part of founding team setting up Scottish office for Updata in 2010.Strategic customer engagement, technical and commercial lead for engagement with prospects and customers, leading to multi-million pound new business wins through direct and indirect competitive tender wins with ten local authorities and a number of private sector customers.Updata technical lead for joint bid with Capita during year-long competitive dialogue process, resulting in the largest win to date for Updata as part of a Capita primed £110m initial value framework contract (Scottish Wide Area Network - SWAN).Following Capita's acquisition of Updata, responsible for strategic customer engagement, technical pre-sales, commercial management for prospects and customers, managing a team of solution architects and commercial staff for Updata's largest customer.Total initial contract value of new business wins in this role >£130m.Achieved, from a standing start, a 50% market share for Local Authority fixed line connectivity in Greater Manchester, a 60% market share in the Scottish Public Sector fixed line market (>6,000 connections) and led the migration of NHS Scotland off N3 and on to SWAN (>2,800 sites).
