Managing software development and publication for IHME's Malaria Modeling team.

Supported 450-node UGE compute cluster, ESXi VMs, and 5PB of network-attached storage (Qumulo and StorNext), using Salt/Reclass for configuration management.Managed $1.6m HPC cluster expansion purchase. Gathered developer and researcher requirements and developed roadmap for future cluster expansions.Managed data migration of 1.3b files, accommodating research teams’ dynamic deadlines and ensuring minimal downtime for each customer group.Created and taught monthly cluster training to all new employees. Presented informal tech talks for researchers and developers on topics like using regular expressions, ROW snapshots, and UNIX command line tools.

Effected thirty percent reduction in IT costs by eliminating and renegotiating support contracts and leveraging existing resources. Documented services and deployed project tracking system.
