My business, the Sprouting Kitchen, is the only dietitian-led program teaching cooking classes outside on local farms. I have hosted over 200 virtual cooking classes for audiences including hospital patients, corporate team-building programs, and med students. Some notable accomplishments:- As the chair of the Hunger and Environmental Nutrition (HEN) Dietetic Practice Group, I lead an engaged group of 1200+ dietitians who are dedicated to sustainable food systems.- Awarded Nutrition Entrepreneur Grant from Siggi's Yogurt. Chosen out of over 50 applicants for my innovative ideas around nutrition education and community building. - Awarded Young Dietitian of the Year in 2019 by the New Mexico Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic- Catered a 50 person, 5 course, fundraiser dinner on a farm. Each dish highlighted local ingredients in a unique and delicious way.
