About Nicholas Falsitta

With over 9 years of experience in the game industry, I am passionate about creating immersive and engaging experiences for players of all ages and backgrounds. As a professor at Sheridan College, I teach several courses within the Game Design Program, where I share my knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, procedural techniques, programming, and motion for games. I enjoy inspiring and mentoring the next generation of game designers, and collaborating with colleagues from diverse disciplines and perspectives. In addition to my teaching role, I am also the president and lead game designer of Cloudburst Interactive, an independent game studio that I founded in 2016. I lead a team of programmers and artists to design and create Funderdrome, a multiplayer car combat game where one person drives and one person shoots per vehicle. Funderdrome is created in Unreal Engine 4 using Blueprints and C++, and has appeared in a hotels.com advertisement. I also have experience as a game programmer in the Business Solutions division of Behaviour Interactive, where I worked on a project with a client, CAE. I have skills in Android development, Microsoft Visual Studio C++, and C#, and I use Unity Engine as my main tool for game development.
