The cliché is true- I had kids, and my life changed. I've lived in cities for nearly 20 years, from Xela, Guatemala to Miami, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Port Au Prince, Singapore, NYC, and London. I happily navigated city life and traveled to manage global humanitarian disasters. I thrived in chaos and problem-solving mode. BUT...then I had my son.When I became a mom in 2019, I discovered that even finding a cup of coffee became a challenge. Does the café have a baby change? Can my pram fit in the door? Should I just stay at home? My husband had similar frustrations when he would try to change a nappy and could never find a baby change in the men's room.It shouldn't be so hard to be a parent or carer and want to get out of the house together, no matter the age of the child. I'm on a mission to make it easier for families to enjoy city life and travel together.
