Lead engineer of the team that are responsible for McAfee VirusScan and McAfee Personal Firewall.Successfully integrated Host Intrusion Prevention System and Trusted Source, two enterprise level technologies into McAfee Personal Firewall, worked closely with different product teams and overcame many technical challenges, including find and fix critical issues found in HIPS during integration.Reduced the performance impact that products brought to the operating system by analyzing products footprint using Windows Performance Toolkit and making improvements based on analysis results.Designed and implemented a prototype that can intercept and filter SSL network traffic using Windows Filtering Platform and OpenSSL.

Led the project that successfully integrated McAfee Personal Firewall with the enterprise firewall engine, which brought product new network filtering capabilities, including TDI, NDIS and Windows Filtering Platform starting from Vista with a unified platform independent interface.
