My highest passion is always music. I dig anything about music. Any kind. Having a good taste of music is my only pride. I see colors in music, I talk to music, maybe I wanna be music. I sleep with my headphones on and my player playing. One of the reasons I quit my job as a music director in a mainstream radio station is because I love music. Ha. I write, compose, and perform music too, of course. But to call myself a musician or a music artist as a profession, umm..no. The music industry was never for me. It's always too big or too geek for my music.Until one day in the year 2014, a weird chemistry happened in the cyber reality between fraunhoferism and the love of bizzare tunes. Between my music and Jakarta based Elevation Records (at last, there is a label that makes sense for my sensory inputs), and the result was "International Bitter Day"​, a five songs EP released on cassette and CD formats. Distributed nationwide but only at carefully chosen outlets.LP is on the making.

Because dub is all about beats and basslines, and because echo is the new distortion.

While watching some people cook and serve Indonesian food for the (hopefully foreigner) pedestrians, I drink a small bottle of beer. That's it. Didn't make much money, but it was nice and easy. But as the owner, I went to cheaper places for lunch. LOL. Sold the place to a friend. Until today I still can't figure out the reason why did I put myself in a culinary business.

Like any other people who works for any other villa managements / agencies in Bali, that's what I did. On some given days, the check-outers left a half bottle of gin in the cool box, like it was sent from heaven for me to kill the 9 to 5 routines by doing a very long blank stare at the empty pool, abuse the free wifi, and contemplate to the sound of bamboo trees until the sun went down. Nah. That was too much to handle. I didn't deserve the coolness of the job.

My first dip into the webmagz and online radio thingy. Good future and prospective, yes, but still it was a learning project. So when we decided that we had enough knowledge, we shutted it off. Maybe later.

In between, we produced PSAs, company profiles, and music videos. More to travelling than salary. I bought myself a nice classic 1959 Honda motorbike from the job.
