About Fang-Chun Kuo
Since November 2018, I am a FRMCS/5G mobile communication expert for Digital Rail at Deutsche Bahn, Berlin, Germany. I am participating standardization activities for FRMCS in UIC and ETSI TC-RT. I am/have been involved in several EU projects (ERJU, 5GRail, Shift2Rail, 5G-COHERENT, iJOIN etc.) and industrial R&D projects on mobile and wireless networks. My technology experience lie broadly in the fields of 5G, Mission Critical Services (MCX), cloud native NFV, SDN and IoT. I received the Ph.D. degree with the title Dr. rer. nat. from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Göttingen, Germany, in 2009 under supervision of Prof. Xiaoming Fu, and the M.Phil degree from University of Southampton, Southampton, UK, in 2005 under supervision of Prof. Lajos Hanzo.
