Designer's Identity is a professional track supporting young designers in the early phase of their careers. As part of the Fundamentals Academy network, I assist in facilitating and participating in design workshops that are focused on co-creation.By working closely with the client and generating ideas on how we could improve or solve design problems with the user in mind, I provide beneficial insights and concepts that give the client a better idea of what they should focus on in their project.

Launched my own startup TrueToSize, a platform that focuses on exchanging knowledge between sneaker collectors and newcomers to assist them in finding the right size for their desired sneakers.Together with my companion, we take full control of the branding, strategy, development, and design of TrueToSize and work on this project weekly besides our full-time jobs.

I was responsible for improving the Cadac E-commerce platform, specifically the client environment in MyCadac, a dashboard where clients can manage their software licenses, courses, and contracts. Furthermore, I kickstarted the modular training project where clients can compose their own training for their employees tailored to their needs. During this project, I conducted several user tests with consultants, employees and trainees to gain more insights for improved usability.Cadac was in the transition of starting its own in-house development team and I was the first UX designer that was a part of the team. I laid the design system's groundwork and worked closely with the development team.

During my time at oneUp, I attended and contributed as a Visual Designer during Design Sprints where I had to deliver designs such as mobile apps and landing pages at a rapid pace. Additionally, I facilitated parts of the design sprints for corporates such as PVH, AEGON, and Ahold and translated complex problems into meaningful insights.Prior to these design sprints, I had to quickly research many different fields and which innovations were already in progress, and the future of these innovations in the upcoming years. This allowed me to improve my research skills and get to the essence quickly.Besides design sprints, I helped in the further development of several workshops that oneUp provides as well as the designs required for these workshops such as slide decks, templates, and web pages.
