TPT is responsible for commercial handling services of sea-route freight across imports, exports and transhipments in containers, bulk, break-bulk and automotive. TPT operates terminals in seven South African commercial ports namely Richards Bay, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, Ngqura, Cape Town and Saldanha. The company has a staff complement of over 7000. Some of Transnet's R300 billion Market Demand Strategy (MDS) investment has been allocated to TPT and its 16 terminals. This investment will see TPT boost its cargo handling equipment base, create terminal capacity, develop infrastructure and reduce the cost of doing business in Southern Africa.My role was to conduct workshops and assist employees to come with creative ideas and refine them to be aligned with business objectives and viable for implementation.
