Ka Hang Fan's Summary:During the last two years, I have studied Culinary Management at George Brown College which I managed to fully experience what I want to pursue in my career as a chef. During my time in George Brown College, I have developed a passion for culinary and knowledge in wine. As a graduate student, I enjoyed cooking with other students in the practical labs because we mostly worked in a team atmosphere. Over my past jobs, I worked as a dishwasher to a line cook. These previous positions helped me build my culinary experience because of the busy life in a restaurant kitchen. I enjoyed the different positions I was assigned to work as in my past life, this also help give me a diverse decision in choosing my career as a chef.Combining my culinary school and previous positions, I have developed professional knife skills, multi-tasking, problem solving, time management, organization, and staying well-groomed. I also carry over a lifestyle of being tech savvy, because it's very helpful when handling with food costs and inventory control in a kitchen or hotel.
