I am an educator passionate about integrating technology and computer science into the curriculum and supporting teachers and students in their learning journey. As an Instructional Technology Specialist at Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS), I collaborated with teachers to design, implement, and evaluate technology-enhanced learning experiences for K-5 students. I also facilitated professional development workshops and coaching sessions for teachers on coding, digital citizenship, and STEM. Additionally, I currently work as a CodeVA Facilitator, where I help teachers and students across Virginia access high-quality computer science education and resources. My special education and Montessori teaching background has enabled me to adopt a student-centered and differentiated instruction approach and foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in the classroom. In 2021, I completed the Computer Science Teacher Leadership certification program at James Madison University, as part of my commitment to continuous learning and improvement. I am excited to leverage my skills, expertise, and enthusiasm to create engaging and meaningful learning opportunities for students and teachers in the 21st century.
