• As a Sales Advisor, my primary job consists of executing a sales call by out calling to clients that are injured after a Road Traffic Accident and to allocate them onto different solicitor firms that we work alongside.• To close sales and achieve my weekly targets.• Building rapport with each client and offering excellent service for them to receive their maximum compensation.• To understand clients needs and requirements.• Achieved my individual best (26 sign ups) in one week. • As this was my first ever-sales job, I gained my first sale within the first week of joining the company. • I played a huge part when my team hit the highest sign ups in one week; (105), 19 of which were of my own. • Top Salesman on the floor for a period of time.

• As a Letting Negotiator, I was mainly responsible for bringing in new Landlords into the business as well as advising clients about the Letting process, setting up viewings and showing potential tenants around the property. • Making sure I selected the most responsible and reliable tenants. • Preparing Tenancy Agreements and Inventories. • Checking tenant references and applying credit checks before signing new Tenancy Agreements. • Arranging for maintenance to be carried out.• Collecting rent from tenants on a daily basis. • Making sure all aspects were met in terms of the legal sector.• Interacting with individuals/families that were from a different background and culture and who were looking for a property to rent or buy.

I was responsible for preparing most of the uncooked food and mixing different types of flavours to marinate the food. As well as preparing the uncooked food I also played a major part in ensuring the food was cut accurately after it was cooked. Once I had a clear understanding of how to carry this out, I also learnt how to cut other products which the restaurant was using on a everyday basis. Furthermore, I undrtook the responsibility of cleaning and ensuring my station was highly maintained and kept hygienic as well as the restaurant floor. My manager believed in very high standards of cleanliness, he always referred to 'the more we keep on top of our stations, the more it would look professional in front of customers.' At times, we would be short in staff and when this took place, few of the staff were in charge for most of the responsibilities in terms of serving the customers, setting tables and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with the service that they have experienced. I have developed a lot of skills and knowledge at Foodbox in terms of working in a fast paced environment and gained personal skills such as adapting into different situations and most importantly my confidence, which I strongly believe would help me in the future. My communication skills had increased to a new level as well as my listening skills. Furthermore, I learnt how to interact with customers and having a friendly conversation with them to build upon customer loyalty.

Handyman Max is a male individual that is highly skilled in repair work and maintenance work that includes indoors and outdoors. He was one of my fathers colleagues that I got introduced to while he came to do some repair work at our home and he needed a hand so I kindly offered and after the job was completed he asked me whether I was interested in coming and joining his team because sometimes he needed a hand in certain jobs and I agreed. My job was to help Max wherever he needed an extra hand, the jobs would vary and this would include repairing pipes to fitting in new bathrooms, kitchens, tiling, painting and garden work. I became more of an apprentice than a helper in the end, as I had learnt a lot from Max in terms of a whole lot of repairing and gaining new knowledge on the basis of general maintenance of a household.

Zinc Occasions is a catering company that offers food service to huge events such as weddings, parties, anniversaries and other events. One of my main responsibilities was to serve food to customers at these events and look after the tables I was in charge for. As well as serving the customers food, I was also responsible for preparing the tables before the event had started, for example setting out cutlery, napkins, chairs and tables. Also, as the event was coming to a close, my responsibility was to clear my tables with my partner and then help the whole team to clear the place until my shift ended. There were around 30-40 staff at each occasion and we would normally be paired with a partner. This really helped me in terms of improving my team work, communication, listening, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Working in a team has helped me develop and motivate me into achieving my everyday tasks and goals. I also believe that it has helped me towards understanding my team and maintaining a professional level of customer service.
