Since 2011, I have built up a portfolio of work as a coach, mentor, specialist tutor, employability mentor and occasional motivational speaker, trainer and charity director/trustee. I have experience in writing courses and content, setting up and developing projects, writing funding bids and running fundraising events. Through personal and life-affirming changes, I have taken a huge journey of healing and recovery from traumatic events in my life. DSA Specialist Tutor - I have been working as an SpLD and ASD Study Skills Tutor since 2011. I am a registered independent provider of DSA support. I also work on a sub-contacting basis for larger agencies. I am and work qualified to the standards required by the SLC for Disabled Students Allowance. My practice is student centred and the students I work with achieve excellent results.Workplace Coach - I use a holistic approach in my workplace coaching to ensure individuals and organisations support reasonable adjustments to working environments and practices. This role includes working with and supporting individuals with health conditions, Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, and Dyspraxia. Personal Development and Strategy Coach - I have the ability to inspire motivate and support others to reach their goals, change direction and create change. I work holistically and explore any fears, barriers and limiting beliefs.Mentor - I have many years of experience as a mentor where I have facilitated support, growth, and changes in clients and students. My work as a mentor also includes a DSA NMH ASD Mentor and ASD Employability Mentoring through Autism Forward.In October 2017, I was awarded an Honorary Master's in Education by the University of St Mark and St John (Marjon) for my contribution to society in both my personal and professional life. In 2015 I set up a humanitarian aid organisation and charity to create change in my external world and support others.
