My work focuses primarily on clinical strategy, health economics and outcomes research, and medical communications. Department of Community MedicinePerformed duties including but not limited to:-Collaborate with members of the health care team to develop patient-centered assessment and treatment plans-Provide patient education and counseling-Participate in safe, effective and compassionate patient care-Formulate community diagnosis, participate in quality improvement projects, research and scientific activities

Participated in community activities including screening for prediabetes and T2DM, providing nutritional and dietary advice for those with high blood sugar levels, and referring patients to the adequate healthcare institutions for follow-up care.

AUBMCares is an initiative that emerged from the combined efforts of students and faculty members at AUBFM. It targets medical professionals interested in volunteering throughout their academic career at AUB. Through AUBMCares, students, physicians, and faculty members have the chance to partake in various volunteering activities organized by both AUBMCares-based initiatives and health-related NGOs.The objectives of AUBMCares are summarized below:-Providing healthcare services to marginalized, vulnerable, and underserved populations in Lebanon-Connecting medical professionals to various volunteering opportunities within AUB and the community-Offering students the platform to initiate volunteering endeavors that address a need in the community​-Fostering and instill the spirit of volunteerism within AUBFM

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology- Oncology and Reproductive Endocrinology-Conducted literature reviews, collected and analyzed data, prepared materials for submission for grants, attended research and clinical meetings, was involved in evidence-based investigation of a clinical case, published a systematic review and cost analysis.

Department of Clinical Endocrinology and MetabolismExchange clerkship with the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA)-

· Responsible for providing site management and support to site staff (Principal Investigators and Study Coordinators) from trial initiation to closeout · Analyzing enrollment and randomization projections and serving as a primary point of contact for study site personnel for all patient recruitment related activities. · Responsible for maintaining the status of all subjects in the database · Maintaining ongoing communication with sites via phone and email to provide support and assist in the identification and resolution of recruitment related issues . Obtaining informed consent, participating in literature review, data entry, collection and analysis using the SPSS statistical software, report writing and updates.· Establish and maintain effective communication with site staff and recruitment team at respective sites · Provide site performance updates on all studies in the form of weekly reports. · Attend all required team meetings · Create reports for sponsors on site performance

Facilitating the Attainment of the Patient-Centered Medial Home in line with the National Committee for Quality Assurance accreditation guidelines-Towards the Development of Personalized Care Plans. Conducted audits on the department's policies and procedures to identify the missing pillars for the PCMH recognition program. A qualitative research methodology was employed through face-to-face semi-structured in-depth interviews to explore views of key stakeholders. Thematic analysis was used for the reasoning of the interviews and a cause-and-effect diagram, the Ishikawa was developed. Based on the root-cause analysis, an action plan was devised guided by the PDCA cycle. The plan was discussed and validated with key stakeholders and managers at the department to guide continuous improvement of products and processes.

Assisted faculty members in several projects: 1. Assessing Patient Safety Attitude and Acceptability of Using Safety and Quality Measures at Primary Health Care Centers of the National Guards Health Affairs in the Central Region- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia2. Investigating the Terrain of Health Human Resources in Primary Health Care Centers in Lebanon and Qatar: A mixed-Method Comparative Study.3. Aiding in the establishment of the Executive Masters in Health Care Leadership (EMHCL) at the Faculty of Health Sciences, AUB.

Ophthalmology Department at AUBMC-I served as a link between providers and patients. My tasks included scheduling, responding to phone calls, filing, and filling up formularies and other paper work. -I consider this experience invaluable as I had learned to work under pressure and to be part of a team. My interpersonal skills also improved significantly .
