⦁ Learning in-detail the Diesel Generators, types, parts, and its systems' working principles (Air Intake, Fuel, Exhaust, Cooling, Lubrication, F&G...etc.).⦁ Projects Engineering Dept.: Learning about the bidding stage, Project's lifecycle, the different docs and tasks in every stage (RFQ, Compliance Statement, Project's Specs, BOM, KOM, VDDR, VDDL, ITP, FQD...), how to read different design drawings such as P&ID, GAD, GLY..SLD.⦁ Following the Product in the Production Line on the shop floor, from the machine shop, Fabrication, Powder Coating, Canopy Assembly, Genset Assembly, Electrical section, PDI section, and Maintenance and Finished Goods section.⦁ Sales Dept.: Receiving customer’s inquiry, studying applicability, negotiating the customer, following up, preparing Quotations, receiving POs, preparing SOs, creating Job Cards.⦁ Procurement Dept.: Receiving Purchase Requisitions, finding suitable suppliers, sending RFQs, receiving Quotations, comparing, selecting supplier, Price negotiating, preparing and sending POs, receiving acknowledgement, following the payment, following up.⦁ Purchase, Store, and Quality Control Dept.: Receiving items and all related documents, inspecting them regarding the quantity and quality, preparing the SRV, submitting docs to accounting.⦁ Studying iDempiere CRM system, doing market research, proposing strategies to enhance Customers Aquisition, increase the Customers Conversion Rate and Customers Retention, proposing suitable KPIs to measure our performance.⦁ Following the QC plan, checking the product, filling related QC reports in each section in daily manner.⦁ Analyzing QC Reports to extract the trends, suggesting further analysis to understand the relations between different departments numbers, to take an action forward the continuous improvement.⦁ Reviewing QA Plan in the factory to assure the customer satisfaction, suggesting an internal auditing plan to assure the full understanding and commitment to quality.

Bobajoy is a food industry company which is producing the boba bubbles for the bubble tea, and as an Industrial Engineering intern, I have learned more about how to deal and negotiate with the customers, customer relationship management, and how to improve the processes and increase the productivity and efficiency of the production lines and process by reduce and eliminate the wastes by applying the lean manufacturing concept and applying other tools and concepts I have learned theoretically during the university years.
