Providing professional help to couples deal with issues such as; breakdowns in one to one communication, turmoil of conflict, extended family complexities, restrain or apathy in physical intimacy, labrynth of negativity towards each other or dealing with perfidy. I also offer sessions to couples interested in enhancing their relationship to a different level, to those requiring help deciding and settling in a commitment, extending the felicities of marriage to a celebration of the relationship for a lifetime, help putting things in perspective allowing a smoother transition into matrimony and a blissful handling of the unexpected. Also cater to corporate clients through personalized individual sessions as well as customized workshops. I use specialized tools and techniques to ensure an interactive self growth experience. Role plays and probes are customized to create developmental opportunities, self enhancement, identify and reduce conflict, handle pressure, diminish stress and improve well being. Worked as the Head of the Behavioral Science Department. I was responsible for teaching and research in the Department, planning and managing the counseling facilities at the University Counseling Center, Fatima Jinnah Women University. Conducted the individual counseling sessions for the faculty, staff and students. Responsible for training university counselors on campus.

A non-profit organization working for women empowerment with a focus on women’s health and education. Have worked on Psychological Assessment, Psycho-social Adjustment & Rehabilitation of Earthquake affectees after Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) in 2005-2006, Pakistan.

Voluntary research work on Mirpur Attock Bradford Study (MABS) on Dementia. Responsible for conducting research and maintaining standards at both sites in Bradford and Mirpur. Have completed the pre-pilot study and preparation of the Research Instruments (118 pages questionnaire) for the pilot study which commenced in February 2009.

Commonwealth Professional Fellowships awarded to support mid-career professionals from developing Commonwealth countries to spend a period of time with a UK host organization working in their field for a programme of professional development. This fellowship resulted in a research collaboration between colleagues at Roehampton University and Fatima Jinnah Women University.

Responsible for a research consultancy with Population Council on its Hewlett funded project to investigate fertility behavior in Pakistan. It included guidance in data analyses and report writing.

Responsible for a research consultancy with WHO which included training, analysis and report writing. The Project title is ‘Gender Analysis of Health Care Access and Utilization in Pakistan’.
