Developed strategy for subscriptions based monetization for Alexa. Launched two direct-to-customer subscriptions - Alexa Emergency Assist (2023), and Alexa Together (2021). Built subscriptions monetization and selling tech for Alexa, created services and tools for selling channel strategy and product strategy for growth. Hired and groomed product and analytics organization, instilling a culture of fast, efficient, impact driven product decision making.

Making Alexa more useful and delightful for older adults and their caregivers. Launched an AI caregiver subscription service - Alexa Together, focused on providing independence and peace of mind with aging-well. Developed a team of product thinkers and builders to innovate on behalf of older customers. Drove one of the first direct-to-consumer monetization initiatives for Alexa with 4+ star customer rating, developed the overall business strategy, product vision, and grew a team to deliver on the mission.

• Kicked off the project through incubation and drove execution for hardware, software and algorithm development. Managed vision, execution and delivery of end to end consumer features and products with technical background and strong consumer focus (article below featuring the journey of the wearable from incubation to ship)• Shipped two releases of the device and several software releases through the product cycle introducing new features and improvements• Created vision and managed execution for all sensors on Band, defined metrics for best in class accuracy; increased scope of the team to deliver additional algorithms for post processing in the cloud service• Drove requirements with hardware team for new sensor features, identified new sensor opportunities and supported research for improved accuracy and performance• Delivered end to end consumer experiences by managing work streams across hardware, application and services teams; defined the user experience, collaborated with interaction and visual design teams, drove execution for development, test and successful release • Led Band evangelization efforts with marketing and PR teams in partner meetings, conferences and as product spokesperson. Ideated and incubated xbox accessory products for e.g. an RC style racing controller, and a wearable from from concept to prototype. Researched new technologies, developed hardware and software prototypes, led UX design efforts with design houses, managed budget, and successfully pitched incubation ideas to become fully funded products (e.g. Microsoft Band).
