Advocate and promote foundation and stakeholder change related to the biodiversity conservation mission of the foundation, in charge of the administration of the Barranquilla Zoo, a public annual USD $2 million budget facility with a strong emphasis on threatened species and ecosystems of the Caribbean region of Colombia. Oversee and direct the operation of the organization, including strategic planning, fundraising, public relations, animal care, administration, and human resources. Supervise six department heads: Biology & Conservation, Education, Marketing & Communications, Veterinary, and Administration and Finance.

Developed a feasibility study to analyze the demand for a proposed indoor soccer facility in Barranquilla, created a financial model that outlined revenue/usage targets and operating expenses, elaborated a standard architectural space program, and recommendations as to whether Fundación Fútbol con Corazón should proceed with the construction of the indoor soccer facility as an income-generating activity in order to achieve its nonprofit objectives. Presented a grant proposal of US $1 million to LGT Group (wealth and asset management group of the Princely House of Liechtenstein) to cover the estimated start-up costs of the project, as a means to promote self-sufficiency and income generation.
