In my role as a researcher at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, I am engaged in the development and comparative analysis of mathematical and computational methods to study complexity in time series data. My primary focus is on advancing multifractal analysis techniques, including the Multifractal Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (MFDFA) and the Chhabra-Jensen (CJ) method.Key responsibilities:- Developing mathematical models and code to implement complexity analysis techniques.- Conducting comparative studies on the effectiveness of MFDFA and the CJ method in estimating the singularity spectrum for both deterministic and stochastic multifractal data.- Investigating the applicability of these methods to monofractal and multifractal datasets, identifying key differences and limitations.- Writing research papers, with a recent focus on presenting findings in IEEE conferences, such as "Comparison of MFDFA and Chhabra-Jensen Method on Multifractal and Monofractal Data."The role involves collaborative work in the field of complex systems, providing insights into how multifractal methods can be applied across various domains.
