He is currently heading the local sales desk of JS Global Capital Ltd., one of the largest brokerage houses, since 2016 and is also responsible for advising investment strategies to Institutional, Corporate, HNW and Foreign clients, providing them with valuable guidance on their portfolio investments. He is amongst the most experienced traders at JS Global and specializes in block trades. He oversees a team of experienced professionals and is responsible for developing and servicing the domestic institutional client base as well as, expanding the retail client business.Faran has been a consistent and successful participant of CFA awards and has managed to make his way for 4th time this year as The Best Equity Trader of the year. He also serves as the Secretary General of Society of Technical Analysts Pakistan and is also an editorial board member of an official Journal of Pakistan Stock Exchange, ‘Inside Financial Market’.Prior to joining JS Global, he was the Chief Dealer in Equities at MCB Arif Habib Asset Management, one of the largest Asset Management Companies in Pakistan.
