The day I stepped into our ancestral dealership of Mechanized Pumps, at an early age of 5, I was bowled over by the range of Motor Pump-set on sale at our store in the heart of Hyderabad city. While others grew up on toys I literally was brought up among machinery especially motor pumps. Hence there was no doubt as to what would be my future it was clearly among machines. My father, an arts graduate, dreamt of instilling technical expertise in me before he could hand over the mantle of the store to me. Starting Schooling at an institution set up by the last monarch of Hyderabad city (South Central India) was a matter of pride for me and to my Credit, I have lived to the high standards set by my School. My academics have only seen an upward spiral of growth from 81% in 10+2 and continuous to be a respectable 80% in Mechanical (Production) Engineering at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology under Osmania University, almost a 100 year old Institution. During my undergraduate studies, it was fascinating to me that I was learning what actually happens in reality. The study of Fluid Dynamics, Metallurgy & Material Science, Kinematics of Machines, Thermodynamics, Dynamics of Machines, Machine Tool Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting / Finite Element Methods, Turbo Machinery, Machine Design, Metal Casting & Welding, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning…etc; helped me to understand what real engineering is. Out of all the subjects I have a Special Liking for Metallurgy & Material Science, Thermodynamics, Dynamics of Machines, Machine Tool Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting / Finite Element Methods, Turbo Machinery, Machine Design& I secured a Percentage of 80 to 90 out of a scale of 100 in the respectable fields. Also, my keen interest to stay abreast with the evolving methods of designing has helped me in gaining an appreciation for languages such as Auto Cad & Solid Works.
