Taken charge as the Head of Department of Information Systems in one of the largest textile setups of Pakistan in a phase when the company was going through a massive change with the implementation of SAP. The department is structured in the teams of SAP Support, Information Systems infrastructure and Help Desk Operations. The role involves:• Leading the SAP implementation project in the capacity of “Project Manager” making sure the business operations’ requirements are completely mapped with system functionalities; • Planning, developing and implementing ICT policies and standard operating procedures;• Planning and implementing capital and operating budgets to upkeep the company’s technological platform;• Planning, developing and implementing secure network infrastructure for smooth operations on local (LAN and WAN) and remote access points;• Development of a Business Continuity Plan incorporating Disaster Recovery Planning to deal with crisis situations. It involves the operating of a real-time backup with a separate disaster recovery site and test drills to check and ensure the robustness of the site in times of crisis;• Ensuring security of hardware and software systems against internal and external attacks;• Mentoring and training of new ICT employees in all the domains of SAP, Network and Support.

Lead SAP FICO Consultant Responsible for leading the SAP FICO team for maximization of ERP utilization. Acted as a liaison between business and the SAP team in reengineering, blue printing, configuring, testing, end-user trainings and rolling-over multiple projects in SAP environment. Project Lead for Oracle Financials (OF)Led the project of Oracle Financials and its team comprising administration, functional and development end. Conducted extensive business process mapping using OF features.

Joined Pakistan State Oil Company Ltd as an ACCA Trainee and worked on varying assignments gaining exposures to all the critical areas of SAP. Major accomplishments include participation in Corporate Credit Policy and implementing it in SAP and formulation of SAP Standard Operating Procedures against industrial benchmarks based on business requirements. Conducted multiple SAP end user trainings in my own training tenure.

Started professional career in Information Technology with the development of a system for a small construction based company: Chemi Tech. Successfully delivered an application on Microsoft Access 2007 just to meet the business requirements of accounting, stock keeping, attendance management and customer billing mechanisms.
