I’m the CEO of ClinicalBox. I’ve been working in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. The common thread across all my experiences has been the use of technology to perform complex work across organizational boundaries. ClinicalBox is the most recent example of such work, connecting care delivery and insurance from pre-op through post-discharge. Integrations with EHRs at surgeon offices, ASCs, hospitals, and primary care networks, drive clinical coordination, insurance coordination and patient engagement. I build new products from the ground up and extend the reach of existing technologies, by engaging with those who tirelessly deliver patient care day in day out. I do a mountain of observation first to really understand workflows and information flows in great detail. Then I help translate that information into a roadmap, working hands-on with engineers and customers, to bring those products to life, carefully including automation, oftentimes fueled by A.I. Software is a living breathing tool. Needs come first, then the tech. Along with end-to-end product management, I manage corporate strategy, business development, sales, financial management, marketing, and basically anything else that a startup CEO does. Besides ClinicalBox, I have mentored new startups at the Harvard Innovation Lab and worked with MBA students at the UCLA Anderson School of Management through the Easton Technology Leadership Program. I have a PhD in Healthcare Policy and Management (research on coordination and the use of technology for high performing healthcare organizations), MPH in Healthcare Management, and a BA in Business Economics.
