I am a student of history and I recently completed Masters from Jadavpur University. Having specialized in Modern Indian History, I have always been fascinated by different works relatedto social history of Indian subcontinent in general and that of Kashmir in particular, having worked on the paradoxical representation of Kashmir and Kashmiris in the 19th century colonial discourses. Apart from my educational background in history, I have been an active participant in public speaking, debate competitions, event management and organisation, student representation and social work. I love to read and write Urdu poetry.
