With seniority came more responsibility and challenges; I had the privilege to lead/manage a complex IT migration consisting off 11 linear TV channels with an additional 3 opt-out feeds for regional use. All channels we migrated from one CMS being in lead to another (offsite).The project took a total of 1432 hours and roughly 34 internal resources (cross departmental) to realize. 5 ad sales houses were involved for the commercial feeds and all launched successfully in a 3-month window.Additional activities:Creating cross departmental scopes for any of our clients wishes.Part of the so called: “Event committee”, sole purpose was to organize company events and to increase the engagement between the company and its personal.Sole internal intranet administrator (development and support)

My main role is the support and development of the IBMS channel management system and other applications which are used to manage media, scheduling and acquisitions. In order to keep the service running I keep in close contact with our clients, vendors and users to optimize IBMS and implement workflows to solve the many challenges that come in a multi-territory TV broadcast environment.Besides the support and development I am also lead of an Applications Group which focus lies on file automation, several workflows and applications.I manage projects and scope/design requested functionality across multiple departments.

Being a Management Assistant at the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) for me, is being responsible for two separate functions. The first is working at the Department located in the Academic Medical Center of Amsterdam, Biomedical Research. The focus here is to be the backbone of the department and support the advisors on several problems that they have, and also make sure that all the necessary secretarial duties are done. One of the prime tasks I have done was the event management of a course called “Train the Trainer” which was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. After the arrangements were done I was privileged to work alongside the advisors in Ethiopia and play both a communicational and secretarial role.The second part is a marketing communication role in the main building of KIT, I was part of the process to create new communication materials e.g. brochures, one pagers and posters. Being part of the communication team we developed a new website from the ground up and update the current website both intranet and internet using CMS. Other tasks I have are to publish publications, make news messages, preparing/coordinating events and monitor all communication towards our Corporate Communication department.
