Current■ Event Analysis Unit of Akhtar Bargh's Technical Office:• Analyzing events and COMTRADE files (Analyzing more than 800 Events during 8 years and resolving issues)• Calculating settings of protection relays- Calculation of resistor in High Imp. REF protection- Calculation of resistor for damping ferroresonance of a VT between phase and earth in an isolated neutral system- Distance relay settings calculations- Transformer differential protection calculations- Coordination of overcurrent and earth fault relays • Calculating fault location from COMTRADE files- When there is no any digital relay with fault locator function or there is a problem in the relay's calculation and I need to find the location of the fault, so I obtain CFG file from fault recorder devices or relays to calculate the location of the fault based on some methods. I also have my own method for calculating and have developed an Android Application for viewing COMTRADE files and analyzing them and also calculating the location of the fault. • Simulating faults with EMTP and Digsilent software- Calculating transient states occurred in the events- Obtaining operate time of relays • Designing protection and control circuits and PSLD- Designing direct transfer trip for tele protection schemes- Designing interlocks for circuit breakers and disconnector switches- Designing all inputs and outputs needed for distance protection relays- Designing circuit breakers control circuits- Designing sync switch relay circuits• Knowledge management- Writing comprehensive reports for events including description, analysis, simulation, SLD, taken actions, best Ideas and suggestions.- Providing statistics • Writing scientific paper (The phenomenon of the effect of reverse fault current in the direction of the load flow on the healthy phase and as a result of that mal-operation of the distance relay of healthy line in parallel cable lines on the sub-transmission network)
