We spend our entire lives attempting to explain our feelings, beliefs, grief, and joys. I've always been fascinated by how people's attitudes, behaviors and practices emerge, and that's why I chose to study Anthropology. Following graduation, I decided to pursue a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. My master's degree study helped me to acquire an in-depth knowledge of communication theories, process tools and techniques relevant to planning, implementing, and monitoring external communication initiatives.I started my career as an Assistant Director at a visual media production company. I was in charge of organizing pre/post-production processes for producing TV commercials. As a Creative Copywriter, I started working with Dhansiri Communication Ltd. in 2010. In 2012, I received an Adfest prize for my TV commercials.I started my development career in 2013 as an Assistant Program Officer (Social Media) at the Bangladesh Center for Communication Programs (BCCP). My responsibilities at BCCP included managing social media and creating communications materials.My main role at BRAC was to create nudging tools and ideas for program prototypes/materials using audience behavior analysis and the Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodology.At UNDP Cox's Bazar, I was the UNV Reporting and Communications Officer. My duties included developing communication materials and strategy, as well as IEC materials, for the UNDP Solid Waste Management project.I worked as a Communications Coordinator at Concern Worldwide. In my job responsibilities are to develop a project communication strategy and materials in coordination with donors and partners. Develop and maintain key media relations with both print and e-media.I worked as a Communications Expert at the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control And Research (IEDCR), my job responsibilities were to work with IEDCR leadership to identify key audiences for CHAMPS data and develop outreach strategies for each audience. I am now working at Helen Keller Intl Bangladesh as a Communications Specialist for the Transforming Lives Through Nutrition Project.I have strong public speaking and presentation capacity. My working experience has developed my analytical and problem-solving abilities, and I have managed strict deadlines and pressure with professionalism.Apart from my regular job, I am a theatre activist. I have been a member of a renowned theatre troupe, “Prachyanat.” (prachynat.com). As an active member, I have been acting, writing, and directing stage drama. Besides, I am a photographer and videographer.
