I successfully designed a new experimental set up in kerogen extraction from oil sands that reduces the time and expenses of kerogen extraction to 40% of traditional methods. I also investigated the role of kerogen in solvent retention and particle sedimentation of Alberta oil sands.I used extensive range of characterization methods in this project.
