• Studies and research interests are Rock/Soil Mechanics, Geomechanics, hydrogeology, tunneling, and Empirical and Numerical Modeling.• Supervisor and advisor at PhD, MSc and BSc thesis.

• Working knowledge of industry-standard computer software for the position such as AutoCAD, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models, Civil 3D preferred, and geotechnical engineering analysis programs/software• Ability to work with a team or with minimal supervision, and with contractors and cross-discipline in-house designers

Main projects:• Rock-water interaction in complex alpine groundwater systems• Evaluation of groundwater flow into Bulchen tunnels by numerical modeling

• Working with a wide range of experienced and highly qualified geotechnical engineers, hydrogeologists, geotechnicians and environmental scientists/engineers• Undertaking geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations and retaining walls
