This ultimately reduced the amount of time from first adding goods in the app to arriving in our network from 22 to 8 days.- Mentored an intern to FTO, fixed lots of bugs and race conditions, performed on-call duties, helped us switch network calls over to websockets instead of polling, gave talks on frontend performance tracking and advanced typescript skills, etc.- Led a hackathon project team to improve the Shop mobile app with a fun interactive game to help users discover new products. Brought a mobile marketplace app from idea to fully-functional product with a team of 2 other devs. Ended up in use by about a dozen restaurants in San Francisco before the pandemic hit and we shuttered the app. It securely handled user auth, financial transactions, barcode scanning, geolocation, and much more, all powered by a backend built o Django, DRF, and postgreSQL, with full test coverage (pytest) and automated CI/CD (ansible/terraform)
