Project: Ooredoo Qatar :•Currently Working as Performance Lead on Ooredoo Qatar. Have been part of the project since its start with Teradata and have optimized it from scratch. Major work on the includes >Systems migration activity from Appliance to IFX as well as the database upgrade activity>Streamlined the whole system by working on different aspects including TASM, defining DBQL logging rules, creating backups>Users profile and roles management, space management by MVC >Queries optimization. The optimization of morning batch being most notable, reducing its overall completion time from 9 hours to under 2 hours and also resulting in ~70% reduction in impact CPU and ~65% in I/O Project: METRONOM:• Worked on the project as Specialist database administrator.Major work included:>Database/User Management, Roles/Rights Management, Space Management and History Handling and Purging. >Performance and workload management sing TASM >Worked on Service Improvement Plan and shared recommendations related to Stats Statistics Management (Stale Stats, Missing Stats, Unwanted Stats), identifying Unused Users and Object and bad performing queries. >Automated several tasks using shell scripting and managed backups using NETVAULT/NETBACKUPProject: UK Pool ( ICELAND Frozen Foods and Jaguar Landrover):•Worked as a Database Administrator on this project and later as Technical Lead of UK pool. Major responsibilities included:>Proactive monitoring and reporting of bad performing queries, >Database/User Management, Roles/Rights Management, Space Management>Archiving the old data and Scripts automation using shell scripting>Used Data Mover between both the production and development and NetVault for Backup and Restore.>Successfully Completed migration from JLR 2550 to 2800 system using TARA backup and restore and also replicated the roles rights of users of 2550 system on the 2800 system>Query analysis and RCA in case of any showstopper

• Performing and managing Informatica PowerCenter (9.6.1) Administration, and Deployments.• Performing Teradata DB Administration on production and appliance systems.• Linux/Unix system administration and script aiding in automation of data management, transformation, and loading.• Identifying data sources and solve data quality issues to ensure data consistency and integrity in timely manner.• Ensure maintenance of DWH space management on ETL and Teradata servers.• Responsible for accurate deployment of new sources/ CRs as per business request.• Backup and restoration management of Teradata DB (via NETVAULT application) along with media management.
