My responsibilities includes:• Work with our Trade Marketing Team to obtain proper support for their credit notes in order to process them accurately• Assist in developing & coordinating reports that track all trade spending including summarizing actual versus planned performance on a monthly/YTD basis. Facilitate plan roll-up and fund close-out processes to help insure plan implications and that P&L reports are completed accurately and timely.• Support Marketing and Sales teams to track performance of key promotional events throughout the year to monitor performance and impact on sales, budgets and profitability. • Preparation and analysis of Trade & Marketing Spend accruals and accounting for trade spend by business segment and sales channel with accordance of approved BDA Scheme & Promotional activities.• Prepare Quarterly reports and reconciliations of all customer incentive deductions.• Track trade & Marketing spend promotions to ensure discounts are applied to invoices & included in monthly accruals/Actual reporting.• Receiving Spend Claim from Sales, Validating against approved BDA/Promotional activities and approving to be processed by regional accounts.• Consistent coordination and communication with trade Marketing team to ensure all promotional activities for the period are captured and accounted for in the financial statements.• Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable (“AR”) team to ensure deductions are properly applied to promotion accrual/Actual on a timely basis• Meet month end close and project timelines• Liaise with Sales and AR/Accounts Payable teams on issues and concerns• Provide process improvements within areas of responsibility• Provide ad hoc analysis• Perform special projects and information requests as assigned
