From April 2013 - August 2016 Farhan worked with John Snow, Inc. (JSI) Tanzania office as a Supply Chain Monitoring Advisor for SCMS & the USAID | DELIVER PROJECT. In this role he was stationed at the Head Office in Dar es Salaam and was responsible for maintaining communication between the Logistics Management Unit (LMU) team working from the different Medical Stores Department (MSD) zones across the country and the central JSI team. From January 2016 - August 2016 Farhan also supported the inSupply project implemented by JSI and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. His role focused on inSupply’s two main activities in Tanzania, the vaccine information management system (VIMS) and last mile distribution with Zipline while also supporting other components of the project.
