• To assist Director Environment in the implementation of Environmental Management Action Plan (EMAP), OHS Management Plan and Downstream Impacts Management Plan.• To monitor the environmental and OHS compliances in the labor camp, working sites and in the camp at sites. • To review the Construction Environmental Action Plan (CEAP) document of the contractors and ensure the approved environmental and OHS activities at the sites.• To conduct the baseline and monitoring studies of the socio-economic condition of downstream community related to the environmental impacts in downstream of the project.• The Deputy Director is also responsible for implementation of the Detailed Ecological & Biodiversity Management Plans (DEBMPs).• To monitor the Environmental Code of Practices (ECPs) and Occupational, Health and Safety measures at sites and construction work of the project.• The Dy. Director is responsible to the contractors’ camp management of and to ensure all the environmental, OHS & labor/social compliances in labor camps and camp at working sites as well.• To assist Director Environment in flora and fauna fisheries data collection.• To co-ordinate with World Bank missions, WAPDA Environment Cell (WEC) and DG-EPA.• To identify any impact not forecasted in EIA report and find an acceptable mitigation.• To liaison with consultants and line agencies for smooth implementation of the project interventions.• To assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports.• Responsible for planning, execution/carrying out other related assignments specified in all given management plans.

• To assist the Deputy Project Manager/PM to Lead and guide ACTED’s DRR Project in Swat KPK. Ensure that planned activities are successfully implemented.• In collaboration with the project team and coordination, determine the strategic direction of the Project in the short, medium and long-term and map out activities in consultation with SDMA and relevant authorities in Swat.• To assist the Deputy Project Manager/PM in Collaborating effectively with other project managers and the coordination team. Ensure that they are wholly involved in Project planning and direction.• Collaborate with the Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (AMEU) to assess need, monitor activities, and evaluate Project progress. Ensure that lessons learned in the course of implementation are integrated into the DRR Project to ensure that it remains responsive and relevant.• Be alert to opportunities arising for learning, collaboration and parternship that may enhance DRR- CBDRM Project quality and responsiveness.• To assist the Deputy Project Manager/PM developing and planning project’s methodology according to principles of relevance and compliance of CBDRM philosophy;• Ensure that program strategies are implemented in a coherent manner in the field;• Work closely with CMs to ensure proper supervision of field teams;• Liaise with local communities, Authorities and organizations in the field;• Provide weekly progress reports to PM/Area Coordinator regarding progress of work• Coordinate closely with AMEU on data and information collected from the field• Liaise with program staff of other ACTED offices to ensure proper information sharing• Attend external coordination meetings upon request from the Project Manager/ Area Coordinator;

• Assist the Camp Director in overseeing the daily activities, general camp operations, and programs to ensure a quality camp.• Be responsible for knowing, understanding, training, and executing all camp policies and emergency procedures associated with the camp.• Assist with the various administrative tasks necessary for camp to run efficiently.• Coordinate quality and safety before and after care at all sites. Assist in the development of programming and with hiring and handling staffing.• Ensure that all program area schedules are completed satisfactorily in a timely manner.• Ensure the maintenance of accurate program and administrative records.• Ensure that the site is kept clean, organized, and free of litter.• Ensure activity objectives are consistent with organizational goals and mission.• Coordinate a comprehensive schedule of day-to-day camp activities and present it to the Director of Program Implementation and/or Executive Director.• Ensure that members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities and receive instructions and constructive feedback to develop skills in program area(s).• Liaison and coordinate with donor organization and other civil societies working in the camp and sharing the progress and feedback during the coordination meetings.

1- Assist the team in technical knowledge, facilitate and lead the team of disaster for effective and smooth functions.2- To develop understanding, liaison and close coordination with DKH (donor) and their policies and work implementation strategy.3- To strength the community organizations, line departments, district administration, disaster management units and other civil societies working in the sector of disasters.4- Coordination and liaison with District Administration, District Disaster Management Unit, PRCS and other relevant departments to facilitate and strengthen them in DRR sector.5- Development linkages and advocacy of the local institutions with District Administration, DDMU, PRCS and other relevant departments. 6- To conduct Awareness sessions, trainings, seminars within community and arranging different seminars and events to strength state and departments.7- Liaison and close coordination and representative in the sector coordination meetings and other forums of the disaster.8- Prepare the different maps of the project area, development of disaster plans for community, health and schools for safety and cope the disasters.9- Designing the IEC materials, arranging different events and training manuals for awareness among the community.10-Liaison and coordination with key stakeholders (government, inter-governmental organizations, NGOs, INGOs and peoples groups, movement and others)

• Provide continuous technical and capacity building support to CUP-Shangla based staff and partner communities aimed at their enhance capacities and enabling synergic outcomes.• Manage, facilitate, supervise and ensure smooth functioning of Livelihood field team, finance, logistics, storekeeper, support staff and warehouse• Oversee program financial and material resources, carry out monthly expenditure analysis, prepare reports and coordinate with finance, logistic and admin for budgetary and logistic matter• Facilitate and work closely with the District Government Shangla, Community Partners and serve as a focal person for NRM and DRR activities across the intervention UCs by ensuring regular coordination, representation and information-sharing government authorities, NGOs, UN agencies and donor representatives as necessary.• Represent CUP and participate in District Level NRM/DRR Early Recovery Cluster meetings and other relevant humanitarian coordination forums and provide technical support and guidance, where relevant.• Establishing/formation community base disaster management committees on village, Union Council and District level and provide facilitation and technical assistance for disasters risk reduction and disseminate them relevant knowledge and information and enhance their capacity.• Conducting awareness sessions and trainings events for communities and CBDM Committees for different project sectors i.e. Social, Livelihood, DRR, Agriculture, Livestock, forestry and education.• Providing technical assistance in the identification and selection of hazard and sliding area for DRR activities and ensure smooth implementation of different interventions of DRR in the selected sites.• Design and prepare the distribution package items according to the potential and need in the area, including in the different Assets transfer packages to the target community with the limitation of budget.

• The PO-FSL will be responsible for the restocking of livestock, seed supply and agricultural extension services to targeted communities.• Close liaison and coordination with line agencies, government departments, district administration, key informants and other development organization for smooth functioning, ensure support and service provision to the target communities• Carry out feasibility study on improving livestock productivity and trade and marketing, e.g. fattening, milk processing, etc.• Develop a guideline for targeted communities’ participation in all livestock related activities at village and UC level. .• Ensures systematic documentation on livestock health, nutrition and water so as to provide the Project Manager with relevant and up to date information.• Develop baseline information related to livestock disease, access to animal health services and constraints to service delivery in collaboration with local agriculture extension offices. • Ensures that the recommendations from livestock productivity feasibility study integrated in community planning and actions;• Carry out the types and needs of appropriate seed depending on the season as well as the local farming system• Develop a guide to support and advise beneficiaries on rehabilitation of farming system in collaboration of the local government offices of Agriculture. • Prepare and compile periodic reports for the project team and partners.• Ensure that challenges/gaps in program implementation is highlighted, documented and shared to the project manager, team and partner • Development of the exit strategies for the Agriculture interventions in coordination with line department and communities for the sustainability of project interventions.• Ensure that all planned activities are culturally sensitive and take into account the local context, and are in line with Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct, Sphere minimum standards (if applicable) and humanitarian principles.

• Prepare Training Modules, Organized, facilitate and conducted training to Community Extension Workers (CEW) and planning for CEWs delivery the trainings at community level• Prepare farmer capacity building plan and ensure trainings in time completion• Design, planning and manage all recovery programs and their timely implementation according to the financial timeframe.• Ensure identification and selection of target areas, farmer beneficiaries, CEWs and data entries, managements and updates in MIS system• Work closely with partners and local communities to do participatory needs assessment, project design and implementation• Manage, facilitate, supervise and ensure smooth functioning of Livelihood field team, finance, logistics, storekeeper, support staff and warehouse• Oversee program financial and material resources, carry out monthly expenditure analysis, prepare reports and coordinate with finance, logistic and admin for budgetary and logistic matter• Represent the LASOONA in coordination meetings with different partners, other organizations, district administration and government departments• Provide technical oversight to ensure quality and standard of program implementation• Oversee staff performance and strengthen the capacity of program staff through regular coordination meetings and staff appraisal• Prepare periodic progress reports as and when required by the donor and organization management and prepare variance analysis reports to keep track of expenses in line with the donors’ approved budget• Where relevant, assist the Program managers Livelihood and M&E and organization in agriculture, livelihood and management tasks.

• Understand clearly livelihood characteristics of local communities within the Project's sub-watershed areas.• Recognize the farming systems present in the Project's sub-watershed areas and assist the beneficiaries to mobilize resources and expertise to improve their crop, livestock and forestry production while enhancing the natural resource base.• Collaborate with communities in the preparation of general and topical participatory rural appraisals and resource mapping in order for a collaborative watershed management plan can be prepared and adhered to.• Assist Project staff in the collection of field data in support of e.g. ERRA's "3W" Matrix and community livelihood rehabilitation plans.• Guide community organizations and interest groups in the operation of audit-able accounts for expenses incurred on interventions for the implementation of integrated watershed management plans.• Liaise with the Watershed Management Assistant, Divisional Forest Officer and line departments (Agriculture, Livestock) service providers and interest groups of community organizations for the organization and implementation of training events at the field level and maintain any follow-up actions required.• Maintain communications with project beneficiaries on watershed management concepts, implementation mechanisms, collective measures and maintenance of watershed management mitigation measures and subsequent investments made facilitated by the watershed management plans.• Where relevant, assist the Watershed Management Assistant in other tasks and perform other related duties as required by the Watershed Management Facilitator and Watershed Management Assistant.• Implementation of the watershed component of the project related to the landslide risk reduction, livelihoods and Natural Resources Management through integrated activities.

• Plan and implement the agriculture component of the ALRP project in 10 Union Councils of districts Shangla and Kohistan keeping in view in the financial allocations and seasonal limits.• Manage, supervise and ensure smooth functioning of field Unit Office and warehouse as Incharge Field Unit to facilitate the staff and staff structure is three Social Organizers, one Sub Engineer, one Store Keeper and supporting Staff.• Develop and strengthen coordination and linkages with line department, development organizations, district administration and management department and Local Government for productive linkages to ensure support and service provision to the target communities;• Identification, selection and verification of vulnerable farmers for assisting in provision of seeds, fertilizers and agriculture hand tools through different social data collection tools as like PRA and RRA and ensuring & monitoring the distribution process;• Conducted field days on different aspects of wheat, fodder and maize training demonstration plots. • Arranging trainings for community Farmers in “Diversification in Agriculture and Applied Farming Methods/better crop production techniques• Collection and compilation of secondary data/ information about agriculture from CBOs (Community Based Organizations)/ VOs (Village Organizations), line departments and other development agencies (NGOs & Public-Private Organizations) • Identification of potential community activists for capacity building through trainings, exposure visits and orientation with the project interventions and ensuring their service provision to the target community;• Site selection for SALT (Sloping Agricultural Land Technology) and developing a successful participatory model for replication;• Field visits for carrying out participatory management, data collection, monitoring and knowledge dissemination to farmers in project demonstration plots;

Work on innovative approach in the field and collect data on different aspects of the season long activities. Analyze data and find the best ICM/IPM control measures. Establish the Farmers Field School (FFS) and close liaison with them. Disseminate the innovative best ICM/IPM measure to the farmers thru FFS approach.
