Entizen Asia was a company formed by a group of professionals with a goal to launch a nationwide Entrepernuer Action Bootcamp, aimed at encouraging participants to awekan their Entreprenual spirits.

This was my first attempt at being a Business owner. The first thing I learned that a company must have a good base. It must have a good Team and a Documented and practiced set of Process and Procedures. Also it has to from the start follow all legal and statutory requirement. So my first task was to put all the above in order within this company.Other responsibilities included Business Development.

This was a short stint but very worth while as I has the experience of having in excess of 50 personnel under my management. The most important skills I had to deploy was Inter Personal & Communications, and Empowerment. I gain the confidence and the trust of the staff rather quickly and I was quick to empower the staff to take responsibility for each decision that they took within their scope of responsibilities. Till today I have former staff calling me for advise on their current job scope and future career decisions.

The tenure here started with me heading the Treasury function of the company before within 6 month also heading the Ac Payables function. Before long I was assigned to head the Ac Receivables and the Electronic Data Processing functions. All this lead to my appointment as Finance Manager in 2001. In 2005, I was reassigned as Business Support Manager to look into Business Support functions within the company and Business Development.The most important exercise I was involved in at Delcom was in documenting all the Standard Operating Process and Procedures for the Finance Department and also the Delegation of Authority Guidelines.The importance on Process and Procedures was a key leaning experience together with the importance of a structured Review & Verification process.

After 12 month attachment at the Research Department, I was moved to the Institutional Sales Department as Senior Manager. The responsibilities here are to service and deliver the trading requirements of the company clients and to provide advise on Investment and Trading stategies. The resposibilites required the employment of Customer Service skills.

My first attachment back in Kuala Lumpur after graduating. This was part my my training prior to joining the Institutional Sales Team. Other than preparing financial analysis on some of listed entities that was assigned to me especially IPOs. It is the responsibility as part of the team that was preparing the Monthy Asia Equity Report for SBC that i most cherish, here as the date line approches eash month before it has to be sent to the printers the team showed tremendoust amount of Teamwork and Dedication to ensure that the deadline was met sometimes working all thru the night.

I leaned 2 values while working here that i hold dear till today that is TEAMWORK, and DISCIPLINE. There was no way the restaurant could function effectively if the members of the crew did not coorporate with each other delivering the best service level to ensure Customer Satisfaction and if the crew was not decipline in adhering to the Process & Procedures nothing could be achived in delivering the service level and product quality that is promised by McDonalds.
