Northland Power (TSX:NPI) is a global developer and owner of power generation and distribution assets, primarily focusing on renewable energy.I was responsible for the global Project Finance function at Northland Power, which entailed securing non-recourse debt for utility-scale projects, including solar, onshore wind, offshore wind, storage, and electric utilities in the Americas and Europe.One of my most significant achievements was starting the Baltic Power, the first offshore wind project in Poland, from the initial planning phases to taking it to a financial close. Baltic Power is Central Europe's largest renewable energy project, providing 3% of electricity to Poland, contributing to Poland's energy security and commitment towards emissions reduction.
