I analyzed education data and research related to P-12 student achievement, attainment, and opportunities with a focus on underprivileged students to draft data-driven policy analyses, advance policy positions, and inform policymaking. Additionally, I responded to time-sensitive data opportunities and legislative proposals and supported the Ed Trust in TN team in trainings, workshops, and events for students and community members. Finally, I conducted a focus group study and published a report on the experiences of educator candidates of color at Tennessee's Education Preparation Providers, and provided recommendations to lawmakers, policymakers, and practioners on how to better support these candidates.

Following my student teaching (Sept 2017 - Apt 2018) at this school, I was hired on to teach Environmental Science, Global Science Perspectives (an integrated English and science course), and Biology I using Project Based Learning.
