With a formal teaching experience spanning from high school to university, including almost four years of working as a part-time teaching assistant in parallel to being a full-time student at Asian University for Women (AUW), I am thrilled to advance into representing the university as a Math Lecturer. On the side, I am also serving as the CEO and a freelance graphic designer at Grafiqe, an online graphic design company based in Bangladesh, established to design dreams digitally.I have completed a Bachelors of Arts in Economics, with double-minors in Mathematics and Finance, with High Honours from AUW in May, 2021. Alongside, I have completed the CORe Credential of Readiness, comprising of Business Analytics, Financial Accounting and Economics for Managers, from Harvard Business School, and passed with High Honours.My research background comprises of working under United Nation's Hult Prize Foundation (Sep 2017 - Mar 2018) as the Project Team Head where my team excelled as the top 5 on-campus finalists and top 25 international wild card entrants. I have also conducted four independent research projects as a part of academics including my senior thesis - "The Worth of Housewives’ Time: A Micro-level Analysis in Chattogram, Bangladesh."My work/co-curricular experience includes a job of a Teaching Assistant, Treasurer, PR Manager, Graphic Designer and Chef. I have been a former Teaching Assistant for Math (Probability and Statistics, Calculus I and II) and Econometrics at AUW. I have been privileged to be able to serve as the former Treasurer and Executive Board Member at AUW Student Government (2020-21). During my university days, I have worked as a PR Manager and Graphic Designer for a sum of conferences, competitions, clubs etc. I am the Founder and former President of AUW Culinary Chef Club (est. Sep 2018) at AUW where the students are taught from basics to bold cooking techniques.I am technically skilled in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Paint), Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Premier Pro), and several programming languages (R- Programming, C-Programming, Python, SQL, MIT Scratch and STATA). My softskills include digital branding, marketing, public relations, public speaking, organizing, managing, communicating, creative or corporate writing, etc. I am a trained classical dancer and a self-taught chef, graphic designer, calligraphy, origami and henna tattoo artist. I can speak in 5 different languages: Bengali (native), English(fluent), Chittagonian (fluent), Hindi(fluent), and Mandarin (conersational).

Senior Thesis ResearcherAsian University For Women Jan 2020 - Apr 2021Chittagong, BangladeshHave you ever thought if housewives were to receive a salary for their unpaid labour, how much would be the expected salary and would it be justified?The economic value of unpaid labour is undetermined even if it is an important indicator of economic development. The complex set of practices by housewives, and the time invested in household chores does not have any intrinsic value associated; therefore, the role of women as a housewife becomes vulnerable due to the lack of sufficient information on the unpaid domestic labour. Such underestimation ignores the real economic contribution of housewives and often gives out incorrect messages to society that lead to mental and physical torture sometimes. This research attempts to estimate the monetary value for the time invested behind the unpaid labour of housewives through a comprehensive micro-level investigation in Chattogram, Bangladesh. In this pursuit, my senior year thesis quantifies the expected salary rates using the econometric approach and qualifies the valid reasons for offering salary for such a job that does not incur any salary in real.
