Faris has practiced in cross border arbitration and litigation for over 5 years across the Middle East and Asia. He has experience in a number of sectors including offshore energy and construction, maritime, international trade and commercial transactions, and has handled disputes before the ICC, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC, HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC and LMAA, as well before the courts of England, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.Prior to this Faris was in charge of legal services at a leading international arbitral institution in Asia for three years, managing ADR services as well as assisting in the establishment of a statutory construction adjudication regime. Faris is dual qualified in England & Wales and Australia, and is a Committee Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UAE Branch.
