"I hate Java."That phrase I expressed when I was in college. Dealing with as such strongly typed programming languages like C and C++ was abysmal for me. Including its OOP paradigm. Ugh, full of headache. But when I explored web development, building a website with simple PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. That filled me with joy. WYSIWYG code, type-less, and open for flexibility were the keys to starting my journey as a Web Developer. So, I started to make a few portfolio projects to build websites and finally landed my way as a Full Stack Engineer. Then, I met Spring Boot. Guess what? It uses Java."Mampus.", I recalled that word.To advance in my web development knowledge, I should learn to make RESTful API projects using microservices approach instead of a monolithic. Learning Spring Boot was the only option, as it was mainly used on my current projects. So, learning I was and turned out to be... VERY GREAT!!I began to forget how painful to code with strongly typed variables. OOP makes an efficient approach to a problem and how easy to read once it gets clicked on my head. If I could make a tattoo on my body, perhaps I would add Java. Well, besides JavaScript, of course. But hey. Java and JavaScript are my best friend now. And, I am not limiting myself to one or two languages, even frameworks. I am ready to learn other languages and frameworks as long as it is beneficial for building better web applications.
