István graduated as biologist MSc from Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest and holds a doctorate degree in microbiology.He has 11 years' experience in the area of university education and research acquired at Eötvös Loránd University as Assistant Professor.Istvan filled important positions in international companies including Sanofi-Chinoin Pharmaceuticals, where he held the position of Diagnostics Business Unit Manager. In this role he had been responsible for business development, sales and distribution of Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur’s products in Hungary for 8 years.Following the acquisition of Pasteur Sanofi Diagnostics by American company Bio-Rad, Istvan was appointed to Managing Director of the Hungarian operation branch of Bio-Rad. Besides ensuring the lawful operation of the subsidiary, his main focus has been the sales and distribution of the company's IVD and Life Science product lines in Hungary. Istvan was also leading Bio-Rad’s regional office of Emerging Markets consisting of 100 countries, exercising Employer’s rights for 40 employees.István is a senior executive search consultant at Kestria Hungary (BM Recruitment) with focus on attracting executives for clients primarily in the Healthcare & Life Science sector.
