An R&D Engineer in the ATI team of Keysight wears many hats. My primary role is to develop release content for our Network Test and Visibility products. For BreakingPoint Systems, which is a Network Test tool, I work on developing network protocols and designing the traffic flows. We deal with protocols like HTTP, TLS, QUIC, and TCP on a regular basis and provide up-to-date application traffic flows for our load-testing tool to simulate. For our Network Visibility product AppStack, I develop unique signatures that filter and look for a particular application's traffic in gigabytes of network flows. I have also extensively worked on various frameworks that help us in our development process. Python is extensively used in these frameworks. I have also worked in backend development using Django for an internal portal. Familiarity with network protocols certainly helped in that endeavor. Whatever interesting findings that I come across in my primary role, I try to publish them through internal defensive publications and blogs. Some of them have been commercialized and I have been awarded four Intellectual Property Awards. The blogs can be publicly accessed.
