In my capacity as an Information Technology Consultant, I was responsible for the comprehensive management of information technology projects, guiding them from their initial phase to successful completion. My duties encompass the design and implementation of bespoke software applications that cater to the unique needs of the organization. Furthermore, my role entails offering specialized advice and recommendations on Information Technology projects, and steering the decision-making process to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

In this role, I was responsible for the development, and implementation of a web-based GIS decision support tool for the National Planning Commission's Monitoring and Evaluation department. This included analyzing and designing the tool, integrating it with an existing GIS server through web APIs, developing detailed documentation, and training end-users on its application. The tool enabled staff across various government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to perform advanced GIS analyses, enhancing the monitoring and evaluation of nationwide projects.

In this role, I served as a team lead overseeing the development of critical technology projects and capacity-building initiatives. Key accomplishments included leading the creation of a biometric enrolment database and a healthcare administration database application for the Cross River State Government, demonstrating expertise in managing large-scale, impactful projects. Additionally, I spearheaded the development of an SMS emergency alert system for PRAWA, an NGO in Enugu State, showcasing a commitment to leveraging technology for societal benefits. Beyond project leadership, the role involved conducting web content management and development training for various organizations, including the National Population Commission and National Geometric Power Limited, indicating a broad impact on enhancing digital skills across multiple sectors.

In this role, I significantly contributed to the development and enhancement of the company's technological capabilities. I was instrumental in creating the core business application module, the Pension Payment & Collection System, which dramatically improved the efficiency of customer account crediting from 2-3 days to less than a minute. Furthermore, I developed a contributions and account management application for the NSITF division, enabling real-time access to contributions for contributors through the company's website, and managing an Oracle database with over 40 million employee contribution records. Additionally, the role involved developing several back-office ICT tools designed to streamline operations for end users and the Information Technology Department, showcasing a broad impact on the organization's operational efficiency and service delivery.

In this role, I played a pivotal role in enhancing online financial services and educational administration through software development. I led the development of a financial services web portal, enabling customers to manage their portfolios online and conduct share trading transactions. As an assistant team lead, I also contributed to the creation of a report and transcripts management system with DocuWare integration, designed to streamline result management and archiving for all university stakeholders. Furthermore, I developed a high-traffic registration website for Nigerian public servants' pension administrators, ensuring robust data validation and user interaction through email confirmation and updates. Additionally, I collaborated on various other projects, including the development of a Human Resource Management System for the Nigerian Police and a Subscription-Based Information Portal, demonstrating versatility and a broad impact across different sectors.
