Whether it is volunteering for a grassroots political organization or researching the alternative energy sources and its production, I aspire to be a part of something larger than myself.My expertise lies in Public Affairs. Understanding and analyzing the dynamics between people and bureaucracies offer a unique perspective when addressing global and national concerns and how they can spillover. As a first-generation American and U.S. Army veteran, I have extensive experience problem solving under high stress situations and adapting to improve my performances for large, upcoming challenges. Throughout my college career, research has been the greatest pillar of my success. Having taken various classes such as comparative politics and modern physics alike (just to name two relevant classes), both industries are heavily involved with other disciplines and contribute to their respective fields as a whole. In these classes, I have learnt so much including world history, diplomacy, critical thinking, anthropology, and even applied engineering among many other subjects. I use this knowledge gained daily to discuss niche topics among those who also revolve around such fields. Proactively listening and speaking with the public is imperative in achieving equality, justice, and prosperity. Little progress can become a larger picture when we work together.In the past, many challenges like the military required teamwork. I'm fortunate to have had talented peers and knowledgeable leadership teach me to achieve my goals personally and professionally. Team building, communication, discipline, and motivation are all important elements in promoting positive work environments and maintaining professionalism. With this in mind, mutual benefit may be an economics term, but it is appropriate in many aspects of life.I am excited about the endless possibilities that lie ahead in the political landscape and STEM and am eager to push the boundaries of what is achievable.
