o Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff. o Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves problems. o Oversees and manages the work of reporting Human Resources staff. o Encourages the ongoing development of the Human Resources staff. o Leads the development of department goals, objectives, and systems. o Provides leadership for Human Resources strategic planning. o Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings. o Coordinates all Human Resources training programs.

o Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records: Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material. o Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability. o Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications. o Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules. o Computes amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.o Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in process production reports, and status and location of materials.

 Operate radio equipment in order to communicate with ships, aircraft, mining crews, offshore oilrigs, logging camps and other remote operations  Turn controls or throw switches in order to activate power, adjust voice volume and modulation, and set transmitters on specified frequencies  Broadcast weather reports and warnings  Conduct periodic equipment inspections and routine tests in order to ensure that operations standards are met.  Coordinate radio-related aspects of locating and contacting airplanes and ships that are missing or in distress.  Examine and operate new equipment prior to installation in order to ensure that it performs properly.  Operate sound-recording equipment in order to record signals and preserve broadcasts for purposessuch as analysis by intelligence personnel.  Repair radio equipment as necessary, using electronic testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
