Responsible for coordinated implementation of TSHIP field activities

Coordinating and working closely with State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA) on daily basis to ensure effective implementation of MCSP's technical assistance particularly at LGAs and Health facilities.•Providing targeted technical assistance and capacity building support to state and LGA staff.•Representing MCSP to the SPHCDA, EOC and other partners through active participation in state level meetings, technical advisory groups and other coordinating forumsCollege of Nursing & Midwifery Science, Deputy Provost, June 1st, 2014 – November 2015•Supervision of academic staff, supervise students’ project and participate in management decision making•Improve students’ knowledge and skills in aspect of nursing care services•Make inputs to planning and budgeting for the schools ‘academic activities

Responsible for coordinated implementation of project activities in the field across the state.•Successfully lead the community distribution of Misoprostol and chlorhexidine in 8 LGAs (84 wards) with a view to reducing infant and maternal mortality rate •Lead capacity building activities including training program for Nurses, Midwives, CBHVs and CHEWs on MNCH services including Malaria case Management across the state.•Participated in the planning, training and community distribution of 1.5 million LLIN in Sokoto state•Maintaining ongoing relationships and coordinates with the SMOH personnel, State Office staff, local government authority, Zonal officers of other MDAs. •Represents the project at local, state or national meetings and conferences related to the program, as delegated.
