Farouk is an accidental creative. His affinity for design began when he joined the yearbook club in middle school. Since then he has continued to develop skills across the spectrum of creative work.. Having experienced living across the world growing up, he was inspired by the fact that despite the richness and uniqueness of different cultures, we all have similar goals and motivations as humans. He attempts to reflect this in his work, realizing that there are an infinite number of ways to achieve a goal. Farouk's design journey so far has seen him running his own boutique creative agency with a focus on local lifestyle brands, designing freelance for festivals and professional sports teams, and being a creative director working with major infrastructure companies, property developers, and even a podcast. He has experience with graphic design, motiongraphics, art direction, and event management. When he’s not working, he’s watching sports, reading up about wildlife or planning road trips that he may or may not actually take.
